About My Blog
- Tina Powers
- As a mother of three beautiful children ages 9,7 & 2, I'm a busy mom, but painting is my time to retreat, refresh and rejuvenate! I plan to make this blog a journal of ideas for paintings, an update on how a painting is coming along and finally, the finished product. Most of the paintings are for sale, so if you see one you can't live without, let me know! Also, please feel free to leave comments, ideas or a friendly howdy! Plans for today:
The kids are headed to the movies, so I plan to paint today. I started a sketch of Mount Moran in Grand Tetons. We just returned from Yellowstone (an AMAZING place), so I have a plethora of painting material! It may not be the water/marsh scenes I planned, but it doesn't matter to me. Paint is paint and I'm itching to paint! Mountains are very new to me, living on the Gulf Coast, but I'll make a stab at it and see how it works! Prelim sketch due today.
