As a mother of three beautiful children ages 9,7 & 2, I'm a busy mom, but painting is my time to retreat, refresh and rejuvenate! I plan to make this blog a journal of ideas for paintings, an update on how a painting is coming along and finally, the finished product. Ready for the Play

I've started a new series called "Children at Play"! I'm so excited about these works! The paintings are an embodiment of my old and new styles and they also express my love for children, especially children at play!

This particular painting is of my daughter, Summerlyn, right before her debute in the play "Mulan Jr."
